Posts from new users will be hold for moderation

Unfortunately in the last months we have had posts from forum spammers almost daily (again), mainly commercial spams that contain links to dubious websites.

As it is not possible to take care for new posts 24 hours a day, we decided to hold posts from NEWLY REGISTERED USERS for moderation.

Banning IP adresses and mail accounts isn't an effective way of stopping spammers anymore, and as these are obviously no bots, we see only two simple ways of getting rid of this disease: Ban all mail domains that most of the spammers prefer (what includes gmail), or hold back and moderate posts from newly registered users. To keep registration for new forum users easy and not forcing some users to get an alternative mail address, we decided to go the second way. So we hope to improve safety from harmful website links for all users. New posts will be approved as soon as possible, at least once a day.

Note: Active and long time forum members will not be affected by these changes !
